Public Signage:

In 2013, Louisa was asked to create a new town sign & message board for the commemoration of the town of Fairfield’s 250th anniversary.

The piece features symbols of the towns agriculture and history. The maple leaf represents the strong maple sugaring tradition, the calf & milk pails representing the dairy industry, and the turkey features hand tools used throughout the towns’ history.

The piece now stands proudly in the village center and the message board is regularly used to announce town events and meetings.
